KT forged an alliance with Soribada, an online music service provider, in an attempt to step up WiBro service. Soribada announced the conclusion of agreement for music service with KT to jointly develop WiBro music service.
According to the agreement, the two companies will provide Soribada music service on a wide range of WiBro devices (WiBro phones, PMP, USB-typed modems) so that music contents are readily accessible to customers on the move.
Unlike conventional mobile music services, WiBro music service does not require additional fees, which means customers can enjoy music service like they do online at low prices, according to Soribada.
To promote the use of WiBro service, KT and Soribada will combine Soribada music service with the WiBro modem featuring the function and run a joint marketing campaign in August.
Soribada said, “While existing cellular-based music services are complicated and expensive, WiBro music service is easy and affordable as well as provides wider choices.”
